Ketamine and IV Infusion Therapies

Discover your unique path to wellness with our Ketamine and IV Infusion Therapies.

Ketamine, once mainly used as an anesthetic, now offers new hope in treating mood disorders and chronic pain. Its unique action in the brain stimulates neuronal growth and connections, effectively managing conditions like treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and chronic pain, and can ‘reset’ nerve functions in prolonged pain cases.

Ensure a positive ketamine infusion experience by maintaining a calm mindset and environment, avoiding stressors, and eating lightly two hours prior. Initial anxiety is common and normal.

You may not eat 6 hours before the infusion. You may drink water, apple juice or clear broth, up to 2 hours before the infusions. Please note that coffee with cream or milk is considered a meal. You may drink black coffee for up to 2 hours before.

We advise going home after your first infusion to understand how it affects you. You may feel inebriated or tired post-treatment. While some return to work within 1-2 hours, consider resting on the first day.

Experience the full benefits of ketamine with an initial series of 6 infusions over 14 days. Afterward, enter a tailored maintenance program with booster infusions as needed, typically once a month. Relief duration varies between patients, averaging 3 to 4 weeks. Personalized care for your unique needs. We advise a minimum of 5 infusions for everyone before considering treatment cessation. In rare cases, some individuals may not respond to the treatment (15-20%).

  • You may NOT drive a car, operate hazardous equipment, or engage in hazardous activities for at least 24 hours after each treatment as reflexes may be slow or impaired. Another adult will need to drive you home and must be present prior to your discharge.
  • You must refrain from alcohol 24 hours prior-to and following ketamine administration. You must refrain from other illegal substances during your ketamine infusion treatment.
  • You must tell the clinic about all medications you are taking, especially narcotic pain relievers, benzodiazepines, barbiturates and muscle relaxers.
  • If you experience a problem while you are at home, you should contact either the Clinic, your medical provider, or 911.
