Magnesium, B6, calcium and vitamin C for cramps, bloating and the week-before mood — timed to your cycle.
The Alleviate IV at Vita Nova in Canton, Baltimore is a 45–60 minute infusion of magnesium, vitamin B6, calcium and vitamin C, the nutrients most often used for PMS cramping, bloating, fatigue and irritability. It costs $199.99, and works best booked 5–10 days before your period, before symptoms peak. No driver needed.
Vitality Circle members can choose one standard drip like this as their included monthly perk, which is a natural fit for a monthly symptom. Questions: (443) 563-1059.
“Yvonne NP is so knowledgeable, professional and kind. She didn't rush me through my process. She was very gentle — I never felt the needle and my arm was not sore afterwards.” — Google review, Vita Nova patient

PMS isn't one symptom; it's a cluster that arrives on a schedule. The Alleviate IV is built for the common cluster — if most of these are yours, it's worth a try timed to your cycle.
When to see a gynecologist instead. If your symptoms are severe enough to derail work or relationships every month, or the mood changes feel like a different person takes over, that may be PMDD, which needs a different, prescription-based approach. If cramping is intense and lasts through your period, ask about endometriosis or fibroids. The Alleviate IV is a wellness infusion for ordinary PMS; it isn't a substitute for that evaluation, and we'll say so if it sounds like you need one.
The single most useful thing to know about this drip: it works best before symptoms, not during them. Magnesium and B6 take a few days to build up in tissue, so the sweet spot is 5–10 days before you expect to bleed.
Too late for this cycle. If you're here for cramps, a Hydration Boost can still help with fatigue.
Symptoms are usually absent. Fine to book, but you'll get less out of it than waiting a week.
The window. Nutrients are on board before cramps, bloating and mood changes ramp up.
Still helpful for cramps and mood in the final days, just later than ideal. Book earlier next cycle.
Cycles vary. If yours is irregular, use the date you expect your next period and count back a week. Not sure? Call (443) 563-1059 and the team will help you pick a day.
Magnesium relaxes smooth muscle, including the uterus. The dose that helps cramps causes diarrhea when taken by mouth — it's the same effect as a magnesium laxative — so the IV is the practical way to get it.
B6 is needed to make serotonin and dopamine, and demand for it rises in the second half of the cycle. It's one of the few nutrients with consistent research behind it for the mood side of PMS.
Of every nutrient studied for PMS, calcium has the strongest evidence for reducing overall symptom scores. Calcium and magnesium also work as a pair to regulate muscle contraction and relaxation.
Vitamin C supports the adrenal response and helps offset the oxidative stress of the pre-period week. IV delivery reaches blood levels oral vitamin C can't.
Want the science version? Ask your nurse at the visit — they're happy to go deep. The short version is above.
PMS comes back every cycle, which makes this the drip that fits membership most naturally. The Vitality Circle ($99.99/month) includes one perk each month — 1 standard IV drip (Alleviate qualifies), 2 vitamin shots, 2 IV pushes, or 1 of each — then 25% off everything else. Try one first; join if it helps.
